A story broke today on Drudge concerning the release of a tape promising a new attack on the US just prior to Election Day. According to Drudge, the report claims:
"The streets will run with blood," and "America will mourn in silence" because they will be unable to count the number of the dead.
Unlike in Madrid, where a terroist strike on a train in March threw the election to the challenger, it has been widely speculated that a similar attack on US soil would throw the election to Dubbya.
It's now being reported that the CIA can't authenticate the tapes.
I'm shocked. Really. Just shocked.
