Dred Scott?

An interesting theory was posted on a blog called Paperwight's Fair Shot that addresses why Dubbya sited the Dred Scott case, of all things, in the Second Presidential Debate. (Or the "Second Presidential Discussion" as Lou Dobbs was phrasing it that night)

Paperwight's contention is that Dred Scott was code for Roe v. Wade.

Now, while I'm not a big one for conspiracy theories, this one has some interesting supporting online documents as seen by a Google search of Dred + Scott + abortion.

I'll admit, I was baffled by the reference when we watched the debate.
